The current XF was heavily re-engineered last year, and it is a completely different car even though it still looks quite similar to the older model. Jaguar decided to make an overall shorter car by around 7mm which should help with making it easier to drive but with such a small change we don’t think that many people will notice the difference. However, the wheelbase increased by more than 50mm which will allow passengers inside the cabin to enjoy a lot more space than before. When these are coupled with the all new aluminum space-frame that is made for the XF we are getting one of the most impressive cars in its class by a big margin. Unfortunately, though, with the new car Jaguar also decided to discontinue some special models which is a shame because they had a market for these.

With the introduction of its new 25t variant, the 2018 Jaguar XF is witnessing a series of other changes for the 2018 model year. Notably, the mid-sized Jaguar sedan adds a trio of safety systems to its list of available features. Optional car viewing cameras of the car are equipped with a direct view camera that is designed to assist drivers in low visibility visibility conditions by alerting the driver if the front camera and radar sensors mounted on the corner of XF detect a remote object; And steer the vehicle forward, which uses the front camera and parking sensors to help drivers train in or in tight spaces. The track guard assistance, which can push the XF in its track if the driver allows it to drift to track markers on the highway, is also available. In addition, the XF adds an electrically operated ratchet that can be opened and closed by waving its foot under sensors mounted under the bumper.

Like the XE, the XF also has three new engines. In this model, the 2.0-liter gasoline of 197bhp comes with an automatic transmission and a rear wheel, making from 0 to 62 km / h in 7.5 seconds, with 41.5 mpg and 154 g / km of CO2. The 247bhp version makes 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds, with all available drive wheels available.

The 2.0-liter 237bhp diesel is available as a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive car, making 0-62mpg in 6.5 seconds and reaching 53.3mpg (rear) or 51.4mpg (all), with corresponding CO2 emissions of 139g / Km and 144 g / km.

The mid-sized 2018 Jaguar XF reinforces the previously detailed changes with the availability of the new Power Gesture Trunk Cap as well as Blind Spot Assist. The addition of a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine to the XF family sees the most affordable 2018 XF 25t rear router model open at $ 48,770, $ 475 less than the least expensive 2017. The new XF 35t portfolio, Starts at $ 72,020.
