he German Company`s premium crossover SUV will soon going to hit the global market. It is the brand new 2018 BMW X1. This model represents the smallest SUV in BMW`S lineup. It is very popular because it is fun to drive, easy to maneuver and park. What we like as well besides its styling, is its strong performance, nice fuel efficiency, affordable price and well designed interior.

Although, according to the latest news, the major redesign is set for the 2019 model, we believe that the new 2018 model will also bring some nice refinements. Perhaps there will be some changes for the powertrain and upgraded tech features too.

The engine will be coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive configuration will be standard. However, the all-wheel drive will be offered too.

The X1 SUV will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds. When it comes to fuel efficiency, with front-wheel drive, it is estimated to be 23 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg combined. With AWD, it is rated at 22 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg combined.

However, people looking to add more features to the car will need to spend more. Higher trims cost more.
